Everyone always talks about how the books are so amazing, and all the movies are poor adaptions of the incredible stories. But i just can’t get into them like everyone else seems to. I want to live them. I want to be able to re-read them just for pleasure, over and over again, but i just can’t. I find them a little slow and dry and not very descriptive. Don’t get me wrong. I do love the books! And i definitely want to read them to my children, but i also love the newer movies. Maybe a bit more.
